Heritage Wines was the setting for this delightful, romantic, fun-filled wedding photographed by Sue Reilly Photography. Heritage Wines (no re-named as Hampton Estate Wines) is a beautifully positioned wedding venue on Mt Tamborine.
Our photography services started with the pre-ceremony and finished with coverage of an amazing reception. The couple were the cutest ever and so demonstrably “head over heels” in love with each other, that they made everyone smile.
The wedding was a fabulous mixture of meticulous and thoughtful planning in a framework filled with dramatic touches, exuberant emotions and spectacular scenery.
Music was very important to the couple and the day was threaded through with the sounds of a beautifully played harp.
Location photos were taken on-site and at a nearby look-out with views over the ranges. A nice bonus is that the lookout provides a wonderful panorama backdrop for sunsets (although owing to the brilliant sunshine and cloudless skies, we got a bright sun and no real sunset, sadly).
Following location photos, we entered the reception. At the reception, guests were greeted with individually decorated and personally selected books as table place setters.
The reception displayed the multiple skills of the couple and their friends and family involved in the wedding’s organisation reflected in a myriad of thoughtful diy elements. The speeches were a delight of fast-paced delivery. The wedding cake was made by a friend and took centre-stage with its studied elegance.
However, the highlight of the reception were the choreographed dances by the couple, and the groom’s parents. The dances, performed with flair, were beautifully set off by the deep colours and heritage style decor of the reception venue.
It was a magical day, and I hope the magic continues to live on for this very special couple.
