This emotion-packed wedding, photographed by Sue Reilly Photography, was framed by the best that Queensland had to offer. The day started with bride in the Q1 overlooking the Gold Coasts’ fabulous beaches and finished at the Gainsborough Golf Club with its beautiful greens, secluded tree groves and magnificent sunset panoramas.
The bride was assisted in her preparations by her mother and bridesmaids. Racheal’s daughter, who was also her very cute flower-girl, provided a multitude of delightful, fun-filled moments throughout the morning. She had most fun playing “dress-up” in her mother’s beautiful wedding gown.
From the Q1, we travelled to the Gainsborough Gold Club at Pimpana. There we met up with the groom’s party for the final preparations as family helped the groom’s party with their boutonnieres.
Vintage Mustangs were a great feature of the day, being used for the arrival of all members of the wedding party. The bride’s exuberant arrival in open-top mustang was one the day’s highlights.
There were many emotional moments during the ceremony, including surprise birthday congratulations for the bride’s father.
Following the ceremony, and with golf buggies for transport, we sped around to several lovely spots for couple and wedding party photos. Gainsborough Golf Club provides several options in close proximity – ranging from small lakes to tree sanctuaries and lovely sunset vistas.
The reception was also held at the Golf Club. Highlights included the first waltz, a beautiful and stylish father-daughter dance, cake-cutting, and some some hilarious speeches. The night ended up with the “shoe game” and dancing.
It was a beautiful and moving day, and a riotous evening. We wish Rachael and Mark the very best in their wedding life.
