Sue Reilly Photography, romantic, colourful and dramatic wedding photographer, had the pleasure of photographing this fabulous at the UQ earlier this year. This is the second instalment of this couple’s glamorous, fun-filled, love-rich wedding in the University of Queensland grounds. (The first instalment is here). The couple had two ceremonies: one Indian and the other Christian, acknowledging their joint cultural backgrounds. This blog entry focuses on their Catholic ceremony which was held underneath a beautiful, spreading tree on a University hillside in late Summer. The wedding was planned carefully, in order to leave a good space of time for wedding party and wedding couple photos. This was great, because, as a result, we had plenty of time to explore the grounds at the University for location photos. The extensive water features, trees and landscaped gardens make the University of Queensland grounds an ideal backdrop for romantic wedding photos. And the lush greenery and peaceful environment were primary reasons for the couple choosing the University of Queensland for their wedding. After location photos, the wedding party headed up to their on-campus reception and a tumultuous welcome from their wedding guests.
