Sue Reilly Photography, creative and candid Gold Coast wedding photographer, captured the joy-filled and beautiful wedding of this loving couple.
Their wedding was a dream wedding from start to finish: it was fun, relaxed, sincere, filled with intimate moments of sharing and love. It was an amazing feel-good wedding that confirmed for everyone present that the magic of romance and love is very real.
It started with bridal preparations at the San Mateo apartments. The bridal party’s hair and make-up was handled by an expert team from Sugar Mobile, led by the talented Terri OBrien. It was a beautifully relaxed session with time for laughs, dancing and anticipation. And the end result was a beautiful bridal party and a totally stunning bride!
From the San Mateo, we travelled to the ceremony location of the Surfers Paradise Golf Club. The Golf Club provided the perfect tree-lined, secluded setting for this warm and meaningful ceremony among family and friends. The wedding was completed with a sand ceremony.
Location photos were taken on the golf course with the opportunity to photograph some lovely moments as the sun set amongst the trees and over the course’s beautiful lake and water feature.
The reception was also held at the Surfers Paradise Golf Club in a beautifully decorated reception area. The bridal couple were welcomed with an exuberant flourish of table-napkins. The reception events commenced with the cutting the wedding cake and were followed by two very emotional dances: the father-daughter dance and then the bridal waltz. Both dances were performed with such grace, style and emotional intensity that it was a privilege to witness them.
The lighter moments of the reception were segued in with the very popular “shoe game”. The reception then moved onto general dancing, with the evening’s festivities being very ably orchestrated by the extroverted DJ Corey.
