Affordable Ipswich wedding photographer, Sue Reilly, photographed the wedding of this lovely couple on a perfect Winter’s day in the always beautiful Kholo Gardens. These Gardens are located on the outskirts of Ipswich. (Another example of a Kholo Gardens wedding, in Summer this time, can be found here).
The ceremony was beautifully styled by Kelly Phipps of CircleofLove.
The red-haired bride was stunning in a beautiful full wedding dress, complete with a shoulder-length veil.
It was a wedding packed with emotion and meaning. The bride was preceded down the aisle by the couple’s 9-month old daughter (carried by the bride’s brother) and three bridesmaids dressed in navy. The bride’s father presented her to her husband-to-be in an emotional moment that captured everyone’s hearts.
In addition to the standard elements of a civil ceremony, the couple added a candle ceremony. The candle was jointly jointly lit by the bride’s mother and grandmother in another lovely and touching moment of this wedding, filled with so many thoughtful, personal touches.
The ceremony, performed by Renee Wilkins, was conducted with empathy and warmth.
The exchange of rings was lit by the joyous incredulity of the groom as he checked out his ring and confirmed that, yes, he really was married!
The bride wore her veil over her face until it was time for the couple’s “first kiss” as husband and wife. The groom removed her veil in a spellbound moment that held everyone’s attention.
After the ceremony, the wedding party and couple had location photos at a number of scenic spots throughout the Gardens, surrounded by the lovely gold of the late afternoon sunshine, before heading off for their reception.
The location photos were a pleasure to take, not only because of the weather, but because of the athleticism of the groom and his party. They climbed a giant fig tree to have some super-cool photos taken, with the groom casually leaping down super-man style after the photo session finished.
